My Books

Although I have been a writer all my life, I didn't start writing with an eye to publication until my youngest child was no longer a baby and I finally had a few hours here and there to write. My first book was This Rich & Wondrous Earth, a memoir of the years I spent in boarding school in Africa. Once I had that out of my system, I went on to doing what I've always dreamed of--writing speculative fiction novels for young people. I have now finished seven novels, and am in the process of trying to find an agent to represent me. But meanwhile, you can get a taste of the kind of stories I like to write by getting a copy of my short story anthology, Dreams & Dragons, available on Amazon or directly from Bear Publications.
